Day 1: Arrival at Kigali Airport
Upon arrival in Kigali, our company guide will meet you at airport and then transfer you to a hotel in Kigali. Your guide will brief you about your Rwanda wildlife safari. Depending on your arrival time, you will have a city tour in Kigali where you will visit the genocide memorial sites, the museum and the local markets.

Day 2: Kigali – Akagera National park
Have breakfastat your hotel and set off for a 2-hour drive eastwards to Akagera National Park near Tanzania boarder. You will have a beautiful views en-route. Have lunch at Akagera Game Lodge, relax as you wait for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon boat ride on Lake Ihema that will reward you with large number of hippos, huge Nile crocodiles and about 525 bird species. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 3: Game drive and Boat trip: Akagera National Park – Departure
Wake up early for a cup of tea / coffee and proceed for a half-day game drive to catch up with early raisers and predators returning to their hideouts. The game drive will reward you with big game like elephants, buffalos, lion, Maasai giraffe, gazelles, Impala, Baboons, Oribi, Butchel’s zebra, Topi, Bush baby, Leopard and Bushbuck among others. Return to the lodge for full breakfast and prepare yourself to travel back to Kigali.
